A short fiction drama that follows Gijs, a 25-year-old photo developer who leads a quiet, solitary life.

 

One day, while working in the darkroom, he discovers a mysterious package of undeveloped film. As the images begin to appear, Gijs is pulled into imagined memories inspired by the photographs — each one exploring a different form of intimacy: family, friendship, and romantic love.

 

Through these visual journeys, Gijs begins to see himself reflected in the stories he creates. The still images come to life, unlocking deep, unspoken emotions and forcing him to confront the loneliness and emotional distance he has long carried.
